Tours
Summer tour brought Da Doox to the DMV, where road trip singalongs, generous homestay hosts, and a few mini-reunions made for an unforgettable week. Between exploring the region and sharing stories with the communities who welcomed us, we closed the tour with an especially meaningful final performance for our graduating juniors.

Spring tour took Da Doox to the hometown of Bowen Duan '28, Shanghai. We performed at venues including the Oriental Art Center and Jaguar Symphony Hall, collaborated with students and musicians at Jiao Tong University, INS Club, and local schools, and explored the country through imperial dinners, tea tasting, calligraphy, Disneyland adventures, and a visit to the Great Wall.

Da Doox traded New Haven snow for Florida sunshine on a winter tour through Sarasota, St. Petersburg, West Palm Beach, Orlando, and Tampa. From performing at schools, temples, churches, retirement communities, and Yale alumni gatherings to kayaking through crystal-clear waters and chasing coastal sunsets, the week was full of music, warmth, and just the right amount of chaos.

Summer tour carried Da Doox from New Haven to New Hampshire and all the way to Athens. We explored classic Greek landmarks, learned from our generous hosts, sang favorite arrangements for audiences near and far, and even tried our hand at candlepin bowling. Some attempts were more successful than others.

Spring tour kept Da Doox close to home with a trip through the Northeast. Between regional performances, time on the road, and visits with the communities and alumni who welcomed us along the way, the tour was a joyful reminder that some of the best adventures happen just a few states away from New Haven.

Winter tour brought Da Doox west to California for a hometown tour led by Quincy Rosenzweig '26+1. From coastal views and warm-weather performances to reunions with family, friends, and alumni, the trip gave us the perfect chance to sing, explore, and escape the Connecticut winter for a little while.

Summer 2024 took Da Doox across the Atlantic, beginning in London before continuing by Eurostar to France. Our travels brought us from city streets to southern French towns, with stops in Lyon, Avignon, Arles, Calvisson, Grenoble, and Marsillargues. Along the way, we performed for generous hosts, sang in a local tea shop, and made memories that felt equal parts spontaneous and magical.

Da Doox spent spring tour exploring New Mexico, with stops in Albuquerque, Taos, Santa Fe, Clovis, and beyond. We performed across the state, enjoyed generous homestays, explored old towns and desert landscapes, and even made an early-morning trip to see the sunrise over the Great Sand Dunes. Green chile may or may not have fueled the entire tour.

Da Doox kicked off 2024 with CaliTOURnia, a trip from San Diego to Los Angeles, Big Sur, Stanford, and San Francisco. The tour included school visits, retirement community performances, alumni gatherings, beach walks, Golden Gate Bridge shenanigans, a Grace Cathedral concert with the Whiffenpoofs, and, naturally, a final In-N-Out run.
